Our Starter Generator technicians use knowledge, skills, experience, and good judgement to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks on assigned aircraft starter generator components to produce a reliable, quality, airworthy product at a budgeted cost and turn time while providing the highest quality workmanship for all work accomplished. Previous aviation experience is valued, but not required.

Essential Functions include:

• Use drill press, lathe, soldering iron to troubleshoot and repair aviation starter generator components.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical orders
• Complete all required paperwork related to repairs performed
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area on a daily basis

Ideal candidates will offer:

• Previous experience in a mechanical oriented position.
• Previous experience working with starter generators preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in performing quality work.
• Ability to read and/or hear and comprehend written and/or verbal instructions provided in English.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity to work with and on small tools and parts in a bench environment; push/pull up to 80 lbs; lift up to 50 lbs routinely.

Experience: At least 1 plus year of related experience as a Technician or related field preferred.
