We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Parts Specialist to manage the parts and inventory needs of our bakery production facility. This role is responsible for maintaining an efficient, well‑organized parts room, coordinating orders, working closely with vendors, and supporting our Preventive Maintenance (PM) program. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. A major aspect of this position is Food Safety compliance requiring the candidate to work closely with the Quality Compliance team to ensure all aspects of Food Safety related work is documented and closed out.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the parts room to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper inventory levels.
- Order, receive, label, and store incoming parts and supplies.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors to ensure timely and accurate sourcing of parts.
- Track inventory usage and anticipate replenishment needs.
- Support the Maintenance Department by printing, closing, and scheduling PM work orders.
- Assist in updating and optimizing the PM program and related documentation.
- Ensure accurate logging of all received parts and materials into the system.
- Work closely with maintenance technicians to identify parts required for repairs or projects.
- Prior experience in parts inventory, warehouse support, or maintenance planning preferred.
- Familiarity with PM programs or CMMS systems is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, technicians, and supervisors.
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, inventory/CMMS systems, eMAINT CMMS a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate a production environment safely.
