OverviewThe Welder - Fabrication position in the Operations Department in Atlanta is a hands‑on role focusing on various welding and fabrication tasks. The ideal candidate will be skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and executing precise welding techniques. This position is fundamental in constructing and repairing various articles, ensuring high‑quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Study and interpret blueprints or drawings for construction or repair projects.
- Perform basic welding tasks using Mig and Tig techniques.
- Adjust welding equipment to suit different materials.
- Use various tools such as clamps, jigs, flame cutters, plasma cutters, and drills.
- Grind and polish steel to achieve the desired finish.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1–3 months of related experience in welding and fabrication.
- Prior experience with various welding techniques and equipment.
Required
Education:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Desired
Qualifications:
- Welding Qualification and/or Certification.
- Experience in construction and a mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
