Blending Operator I - 2nd Shift (1pm – 9:30pm)
The Blending Operator I is an entry‑level position that plays a key role in supporting the blending and production of juice products. Responsibilities include verifying ingredients, accurately weighing and measuring raw materials, operating blending equipment according to standard operating procedures, maintaining detailed batch records, performing CIP/COP cleaning, and ensuring sanitary conditions throughout the processing area.
Key Skills Required- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
- Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Ability to multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Verify the pulling and staging of all ingredients; maintain accurate batch and lot code records.
- Weigh and measure raw materials accurately, ensuring correct proportions and mixtures.
- Operate blending equipment safely and efficiently, following SOPs.
- Perform CIP and COP according to company standards.
- Collaborate with shift supervisors, quality control, and maintenance to achieve production targets.
- Sanitize equipment, workstations, and processing areas to prevent contamination.
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with departmental and company policies.
- Promote a safe work environment and communicate across departments.
- Perform cycle counts for wet and dry ingredients and follow the production schedule.
- Assist with any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry, yields, and production processes.
- Experience with blending/processing preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
