CNC Machinist
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team, working with Haas and Grob CNC machines to produce high‑quality stainless‑steel parts. This role is essential in ensuring precision machining, quality control, and efficient production processes in our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate milling, Haas and Grob CNC machines, ensuring accurate machining of stainless‑steel parts.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T to determine machining requirements.
- Program CNC mills by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and conditional switches.
- Monitor operations, verifying settings by measuring first‑run parts and sample work pieces to maintain strict quality standards.
- Maintain machining specifications by observing, measuring, and inspecting parts for precision.
- Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to controls and tooling.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards and quality assurance processes.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, calling for repairs when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with company safety regulations.
- Fixed schedule, 1 st and 2 nd shift with a 45‑minute lunch.
- Some evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines (preferably Haas & Grob).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
- Strong knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience in CNC operations, troubleshooting, and setting up mills.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
