Veolia North America is seeking a Regeneration Operator to prepare resin, mobile equipment and ion exchange resin tanks for customer fulfillment, regenerate ion exchange resin and media with various chemicals, and perform related tasks in a safe, compliant manner.

The Regeneration Operator prepares resin tanks and mobile equipment, regenerates resins and media with acids, bases and other chemicals, and performs quality control checks to ensure specifications are met. This role is part of Plant Operations and requires adherence to EHS procedures and policies.

• Receive resin from customer sites in resin tanks or on mobile equipment and prepare equipment for regeneration.
• Regenerate ion exchange resins and media with acids, bases and other chemicals.
• Perform quality control checks on equipment and test parameters such as pH, specific ions, resistivity, and TDS.
• Repair and help maintain bottles/tanks and other service-type equipment (e.g., minor valve/PVC repairs, painting, refurbishing).
• Prepare resin tanks or mobile equipment by filling empty tanks with regenerated media.
• Separate ion exchange resins as required.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, safety shoes).
• Adhere to safety and environmental requirements and perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 1 year of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment involving chemical handling, or at least 1 year of experience in plumbing, pump or mechanical repair.
• Physical job requiring lifting and bending, use of hand tools, and manual manipulation of products/equipment.
• Operate forklift as needed.

Education & Experience

• Required:
  
  HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Required:
  
  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred

• HS Chemistry knowledge highly desired.

• Ability and willingness to complete occasional site assignments for customer troubleshooting, operation and installation.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity.
• Ability and willingness to work in environments including industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities.
• Ability and willingness to travel for install and repair if needed.
