* Schedule:

** Mon - Fri 6am until finish

* Position Summary:

*** Receives, logs and issue materials to stockroom, warehouse or designated location.
**
* Essential Functions:

**** Checks goods received against bills of lading or purchase orders.
* Checks goods for damage and expiration dates.
* Identify and account for all histamine products (seafood only).
* Sorts, counts and checks received items.
* Maintains required clerical records.
* Operates warehouse equipment as needed to move goods to storage area and place in designated location.
* Identify damaged packaging and/or possible cross contaminated product.
* Perform returns.
* Maintain and rotate cooler and freezer (USDA only).
* Inventory control (USDA only).
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*** Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
**** Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
* Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.
* Ability to operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV)
*** Equipment / Tools / Technology:
**** Must be able to understand the basic functions of a Radio Frequency handheld computer.
* Pallet jack, hand trucks
* Shrink wrap/stretch wrap equipment
* Box cutter
* Internet, email, and other applications
* Knowledge of WMS RF system of inventory
* Ability to operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV)
*** Educational & Experience Requirements:
**** No previous experience needed.
* Forklift certification must be obtained upon hire and maintained during employment certification or license.
* High School / Equivalent  preferred.
