80 Acres Farms operates commercial farms in Ohio, Kentucky, and soon Georgia, plus research facilities in Arkansas and The Hague, Netherlands, using state‑of‑the‑art technology and analytics from our subsidiary Infinite Acres. Our products reach retailers and food‑service distributors from Michigan to Florida, including Kroger, Whole Foods, The Fresh Market, Dorothy Lane Markets, Sysco, and US Foods. We are supported by world‑class investors and partners such as General Atlantic, Siemens, Barclays, Ocado, and Signify Philips.
We are seeking a self‑motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented individual to manage all shipping & receiving needs across our company and farm locations. The role requires working both independently and as part of a daily team, with DOT driver certification completed through the company upon hire.
Key Responsibilities- Unload shipments and route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Ensure proper paperwork and inspect the quality of incoming goods
- Verify each received item has arrived at the appropriate location and is accounted for
- Organize storage areas daily, ensuring FIFO methods are followed
- Pick finished products to fulfill customer orders
- Create mailing and shipping labels for outgoing products
- Determine shipment methods, prepare bills, invoices, etc.
- Organize customer orders for easy shipping
- Operate machinery when loading, unloading, and transporting goods
- Communicate reliably with suppliers and the sales team
- Manage inventory within storage areas to ensure safety and accountability
- Transport product; drive a box truck
- Support production operations as needed, including hands‑on tasks in the production environment
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Experience with a box truck and forklift driving or willingness to learn
- Ability to operate machinery, use a ladder, and lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a DOT physical & certification
- Box truck driving experience is a plus
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Knowledge of safe storage and handling procedures for various materials and goods
