Junior Inventory Clerk

Momar is looking for a Junior Inventory Clerk!

Momar, Inc., a privately owned specialty chemical manufacturing company based in Atlanta, GA, is currently seeking a Junior Inventory Clerk to join our Momar family. Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor, the Junior Inventory Clerk is responsible for assisting with various tasks within our warehouse, such as coordinating the storage, movement, and organization of inventory.

• Perform regular cycle counts with a tablet or computer to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory.
• Assist with bin moves in Toolkit, ensuring proper handling and organization of materials.
• Support the team with container weighing, ensuring compliance with weight specifications and safety standards.
• Aid in the accurate labeling of materials and containers to ensure proper identification and inventory control.
• Contribute to general warehouse operations, including inventory organization, material sorting, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with safety regulations and operational guidelines.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Supervisor of Inventory Control.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Basic understanding of material handling processes.
• 1 year of relevant experience is highly preferred.

• Ability to routinely lift and / or move 50 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle / feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.
• Able to perform job tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and / or cold working conditions.
