Responsible for providing White Cap critical communications and administrative support to support the education and engagement of internal and external audiences on behalf of a fast‑growing organization.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities- Supports company‑wide campaigns and processes, provides support for company‑wide events including but not limited to organizational announcements, town hall presentations, and weekly newsletters.
- Partners with internal stakeholders to support the development and execution of communications plans for internal audiences focused on process‑based and technical communications that include IT, Finance, Operations, and Integration activities.
- Executes thoughtful communications plans to support a growing business.
- Manages a variety of administrative activities including the timing and distribution of communication channels and the maintenance of internal and external company resources and documentation.
- Provides support in researching, proofreading, editing and ensuring the highest levels of quality across all communication.
- Fosters strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication before, during, and after key launches and campaigns, supporting teammates’ feelings of engagement, pride and value within the organization.
- Monitors trends in the corporate communications space to support continuous improvement.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
- Work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Output is typically reviewed periodically by a supervisor or direct customers of the process.
- May provide general guidance or direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light items.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally, 2‑3 years of experience in a related field or MS/MA and generally 1‑2 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least two years’ experience in a corporate communications environment.
- Understanding of corporate communication at a large‑scale organization (5,000+ employees).
- Outstanding writing and editing skills for different formats, including but not limited to email announcements, press releases, and video scripts.
- Strong collaborator who enjoys working with a cohesive team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. Understands nuance and knows how to navigate consistent change within a large organization.
- Ability to shift quickly between content development and administrative execution and enjoys working cross‑functionally.
This is a hybrid position. Eligible candidates residing in the greater Atlanta area will be asked to work two days a week in our Doraville, GA Field Support Center.
