Brand Marketing Coordinator Summary of Responsibilities
The Brand Marketing Coordinator will support the Brand Marketing team with creative and production initiatives for the Tropical Smoothie Café brand. This role will focus on moving brand marketing projects from initiation to completion, including but not limited to project initiation, creative asset management and collaboration with agency and vendor partners. This role will have a specific focus on local initiatives but will also support national efforts.
Key Responsibilities Local Marketing and Campaign Support- Primary brand team support for local marketing programs for the Tropical Smoothie Café system.
- Work cross-functionally with Field Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to understand local campaign goals, deliver brand-led guidance on marketing solutions and drive concepting, ideation, brief development, project management and creative reviews.
- Own brand team representation in ideation and creation of assets for the brand’s sport partnerships by coordinating with field marketing team and leading agencies and cross functional teams in the development of assets.
- Work closely with agency and vendor partners to ensure content aligns with brand standards and campaign goals.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Marketing Manager on the planning and execution of social media campaigns, offering ideas during brainstorming sessions and supporting evergreen content development.
- Communicate objectives and campaign strategies during cross-functional meetings and in brand email updates.
- Assist in the dissemination of local marketing materials to field marketing team, agencies, etc.
- Provide national project execution support to the Brand Marketing team, based on workload.
- Support the day-to-day creative management of our CRM agency partnership across email, app, push and loyalty initiatives. Assist in strategic planning for CRM campaigns, including campaign goals, audience targeting and communication approach.
- Support the development of clear, effective creative briefs for agency partners.
- Manage creative review process logistics, providing consolidated written feedback to ensure brand alignment and accuracy.
- Track timelines, deliverables and approvals to ensure on-time execution across all CRM initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with digital, field and brand teams to ensure CRM efforts support broader marketing objectives.
- Lead brand team QA for all CRM efforts supporting national and local campaigns, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and adherence to campaign strategy.
- Lead meeting scheduling for both internal and external teams, assist with shipping items for social giveaways, etc.
- Assist with updating and organizing shared marketing decks and calendars to support campaign planning and execution across teams.
- 1-3 years of marketing or project management experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and timeline management
- Agency experience is preferable
- Basic understanding of print/broadcast/digital production, and email marketing is preferable
- Restaurant and franchisee experience are a plus
BS in Marketing or a related field required
Required Certificates, Knowledge, or Licenses- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, written, communication and relationship-building skills
- Problem solver; resourceful and able to clarify ambiguity and create solutions in a fast-paced organization
- Proven project management skills with excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build working relationships through collaboration to successfully complete a project
- Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment
- Must be comfortable working in an ever-evolving, high growth, collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Must live near the Atlanta area Support Center. Remote Monday and Friday – in-office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Travel 2-3 times / year.
