Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hourly Rate: $17
Trees Atlanta is a nationally recognized non‑profit citizens' group that protects and improves Atlanta’s urban forest by planting, conserving, and educating. Founded in 1985, Trees Atlanta works tirelessly to address Atlanta’s tree loss, protect its forests, and create new green space. Empowered by its wonderful community of volunteers, Trees Atlanta serves the metro Atlanta area, and has grown to become one of Atlanta’s most widely known and supported non‑profit organizations.
Job Description- Assist with hosting Challenge Day and the Volunteer Tree Planting for Youth Tree Team applicants
- Assist with Youth Tree Team student and staff hiring processes, which include interviewing and onboarding
- Provide assistance to parents/guardians with the completion of student onboarding
- Prepare timecards at the end of each pay period
- Assist with Youth Tree Team field trip logistics such as travel and student lunches
- Assist supervisor with bi‑weekly evaluations and quizzes, sending out group announcements
- Ensure all tools and supplies are ordered for the duration of the Youth Tree Team
- Assist with logistics for career and graduation day
- Serve as a backup in the absence of a Senior Lead/Mentor
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license with at least a 3‑year clear driving history
- A background in outdoor education and/or leading volunteers is advantageous
- Experience in project management
- Strong communication and written skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Proficient in Google Drive Applications
- Detail oriented
- Great time management
- Be comfortable driving a 12‑15 passenger van and occasionally long‑distance traveling
- Have an updated tetanus shot

Final candidates applying for positions that require driving company‑owned vehicles will also have to pass a Motor Vehicle Report review to determine eligibility. Eligible drivers must also pass a DOT physical.
