About I’RAISE: I'RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation, founded in the heart of the North Bronx in 2012, began as a mentoring program for at‑risk female youth living in New York City Authority Housing. Under the visionary leadership of CEO Shanequa Moore, the organization quickly expanded its reach and impact. Shanequa, a Bronx native who overcame poverty and significant life challenges, was inspired to give back to her community, creating a resilient organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and youth.
Purpose: Manage volunteer scheduling, training, and guest check‑in experience.
Responsibilities- Build and manage volunteer schedule
- Train greeters & ushers
- Oversee check‑in, guest lists, name tags
- Support front‑of‑house setup
- Strong organizational and people skills
- Customer service or admin experience
- Tech‑savvy (Google Sheets, check‑in tools)
Hours:
3–6 hours/week + event day.
Reports To:
Event Coordinator.
