Chi Alpha at Georgia Tech is a branch of Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, a Christian campus ministry serving universities across the United States and around the world. The organization is a movement of college-age individuals committed to earnestly following Jesus and engaging peers with faith-based community and service. Chi Alpha at Georgia Tech is committed to engaging students with the Gospel, equipping them to share their faith with classmates and peers, and encouraging them in the faith.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Staff Member role based in Atlanta, GA. The Staff Member will help lead and support campus ministry activities, including organizing weekly services and life groups, mentoring and discipling students, and coordinating outreach and service projects. Daily responsibilities may include planning and facilitating meetings, developing student leaders, providing pastoral care, and collaborating with other staff to implement ministry strategies.
Qualifications- Ability to build relationships, mentor students, and provide compassionate support in a diverse campus environment.
- Experience organizing events, coordinating small groups, or leading teams within a ministry, nonprofit, or campus setting.
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking, group facilitation, and clear written communication.
- Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and practice, with alignment to Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, U.S.A. mission and values.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities during the academic year.
- Collaborative approach to working with staff, students, and campus partners, and openness to ongoing training and feedback.
