Job Description:

The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of the Wellstar Kennestone OB/GYN team. Reporting to the Nurse Supervisor or Office Manager, the RN Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, safe patient care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional care to women.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the delivery of safe, quality care.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and research to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Uphold all healthcare system policies and procedures and clinical competencies.
  • Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
  • Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
  • Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas.
  • Experience with direct patient care preferred.
  • Additional specialty experience may be required.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
  • Excellent time management skills and critical thinking abilities.
