Overview
Registered Nurse - Bone Marrow Transplant - 16-week assignment, Night Shift (7p–7a)
Location:
No local candidates within 50 miles
- Position: RN, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit (718A)
- Unit Type:
Inpatient isolation unit providing intermediate level of care - Patient Population:
Patients receiving cell therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood product transfusions, and transplants - EMR
Experience:
Cerner - Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:
Low - Holiday Requirement:
Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
- Administer cell therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood transfusions
- Care for transplant patients
- Maintain infection control in an isolation environment
- Monitor and respond to patient changes in condition
- Experience
Required:
Minimum 2 years of specialty experience (bone marrow transplant) - Certifications
Required:
BLS (required), ACLS, Chemo, and NIHSS (preferred) - Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN)
