Overview
Performs a variety of patient care activities in accordance with established standards and practice. Responsible for the day‑to‑day administrative duties and clinical activities of the APPs in a variety of settings to include but not limited to the outpatient clinic and inpatient setting.
Responsibilities- Schedules & Recruitment
- Annual reviews
- Performance/behavior management
- Compliance with annual training, flu shots, etc.
Skill and ability in electronic medical records applications.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with team members and patients.
Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to understand legal issues that influence the practice of the APPs.
Ability to lead a team maintaining professional demeanor.
Ability to build effective relationships within and outside PHC.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations and assist when only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Qualifications Education- Graduate from a nursing program with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing, Required or
- Graduate of Physician Assistant program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board. Required
- 1 year previous supervisory or lead surgical experience. Preferred
- ACLS Upon Hire Required and
- BCLS – Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
- PA – Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. Updated NCCPA certification for PAs. Upon Hire Required or
- ACNP – Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP, FNP, and WHNP) in the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required
