We’re seeking a Procedural Service Line Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator with specifically two years of procedural area and two years of orthopedic experience. The RN Coordinator is integral to inter‑professional teams in hospitals and clinics committed to outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the overall daily operations of the assigned service line and communicate with surgeons/proceduralists.
- Manage staffing, case flow, inventory, instruments, supplies, and equipment for selected service line surgeons/proceduralists.
- Assist, educate, and ensure nursing quality measures are achieved and maintained in the procedural environment.
- Proactively communicate with surgeons, proceduralists, vendors, supporting staff, and leadership regarding case schedule and flow.
- Act as the communications link to physicians, office personnel, nursing staff, allied health professionals, and patients/families.
- Maintain quality standards for service response and professional documentation, keeping current policies and procedures accurate.
- Support Nurse Manager and other nursing leadership with administrative duties, participate in regulatory agency reviews, cost containment, unit staffing schedules, and communication of concerns.
- Education:
Bachelor of Nursing from an accredited school, or Associate’s degree with minimum 2 years of experience. - Experience:
2 years in a procedural area and minimum 6 months in that service line. - Licensure:
Valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. - Certification: BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional specialty certification may be required.
