Reports To : Head Nurse

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including assessment, treatment, and documentation of health concerns.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures according to physician orders and school policies.
• Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health concerns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
• Promote health education and support wellness initiatives within the school community.
• Follow all infection control procedures and emergency protocols.
• Support compliance with state immunization and health screening requirements.
• Assist with the management of chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and severe allergies.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with school personnel, students and families.
• Display competency in computer applications, record keeping and organizational skills.
• Be willing and able to accompany students on overnight field trips (fully paid).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Nurse.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
• CPR and First Aid certification required. PALS preferred.
• Prior experience in pediatrics, school health, or community health nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments.

PRN / On-Call Basis (hours vary based on school needs). School hours are 7:30 am - 3:30 pm.
