The Registered Professional Nurse for Northside Hospital's Choice+ Program independently plans and provides nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. The Choice+ Staff RN is required to work alongside the unit-specific teams to support them in providing care to all patients and families.

The Northside Hospital Choice+ Staff RN manages the care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION

REQUIRED:

* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing

* Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

* Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

* BSN degree

* Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).

* Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

* Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
