Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring strong ortho and trauma surgical skills.

Job Details

• Work in the 5B Surgical unit providing care to medical-surgical patients with a focus on orthopedic and trauma cases,

• Hospital setting with 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week,

• No on-call responsibilities,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg, ortho-surgical, or trauma experience,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

• References from similar experience within the last 2 years from supervisors or managers,

• Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days,

• Experience with relevant EMR systems preferred,

Additional Information

• No requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment,

• Responsibilities include caring for post-surgical, orthopedic, and trauma patients,

• A comprehensive skills checklist related to specialty is required,

• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding,
