RN - Virtual Nursing Operations, On-Site

Overview:

This is anon-site position based out of Atlantic Station in Atlanta. While the primary location is Atlantic Station, the role may be seated at one of our satellite locations:
Piedmont Athens or Piedmont Mountainside. Training will be conducted at the Atlantic Station office.

Work Schedule:

We are currently hiring for8-hour & 10-hour shifts starting between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Team members are also required to work6 weekend shifts within a 6-week periodas part of the regular schedule.

Responsibilities:

The virtual nursing staff nurse uses nursing processes and telemedicine technology to remotely assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients. The virtual nursing staff nurse functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The virtual nursing staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of a nursing program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

Two (2) years of direct patient care experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.

BLS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Telemedicine and/or virtual care experience is preferred.

Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.
