Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position supporting Radiology and Interventional Radiology patients, requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU, providing pre and post recovery for Radiology and Interventional Radiology procedures

• Care for patients with conditions such as CKD, post organ transplant, oncology, and chronic hepatic/biliary disease

• Day shift schedule: 3x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• Weekend shifts required every other weekend

• No on-call responsibilities

• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed

• Responsible for recovery care for a variety of complex radiology and interventional procedures

• Maximum of seven days requested time off (RTO) allowed, excluding the first week of assignment

• Holiday coverage required per assignment period (work one if one falls during contract, work both if two, work two if three)

• Full compliance with onboarding required to start on time

• Travel pairs are not assigned the same shift on the same unit

• No blocked scheduling is permitted

• Locals are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required

• Minimum of two years PACU or relevant nursing experience required

• First time travelers are accepted

• Two supervisory references required for consideration

• Must not have been employed at any Piedmont facility as a perm or PRN staff member in the past year
