Job Opportunity – Charge Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical – Georgia

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 38-bed unit with average daily census of 33. Every other weekend required. Floating within scope of practice as needed. No call required.

• Charge RN experience required on a Medical Surgical unit with remote telemetry
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with various medical surgical diagnoses
• Epic EMR experience required; unit also utilizes Pyxis and SBAR
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, and more
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate; first-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year experience

• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Previous Charge RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Skills in Med/Surg nursing, rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance documentation required to start on time
