American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a Level 1 trauma center requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.

• Work on a Medical/Surgical unit (9A) within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Patient population includes general medical/surgical cases with oncology overflow
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling is not approved for this unit
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical specialty required
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity trauma hospitals required
• Proven experience managing critical, fast-paced patient situations required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Work history/resume must have no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Skills checklist, certification cards, and Nursys license verification required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse and high-acuity medical/surgical patient population
• Facility operates as a high-volume, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• No RTO permitted during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates
