Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Respiratory / Medical-Surgical Unit – Georgia

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required (5 to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule); 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 23-bed unit; no call required

• Specialized respiratory care unit equipped for high-acuity patients requiring Hi-Flow oxygen, CPAP, BIPAP, and advanced monitoring
• All private rooms with negative pressure capability and state-of-the-art technology including cameras, monitoring systems, and bedside computers
• Comprehensive skill development including blood transfusions, wound VAC management, and specialty bed utilization
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Strong interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, and more
• 13-week assignment with up to 7 days of approved time off; first-time travelers accepted with required experience

• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Telemetry experience and ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias strongly preferred
• Experience with adult to geriatric patient population
• Willingness to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
