American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift contract requiring recent specialty experience and current AHA BLS and NIH certifications.
Details- Medical/Surgical unit setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 7pm-7am
- 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- Deferred scheduling with varying shifts
- No on-call requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Medical/Surgical specialty
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- AHA ACLS certification preferred
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Previous perm staff must wait 2 years before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
- 100% credentialing is required prior to start with no exceptions for pushes or conditional starts
