American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 12-hour night shift position on an Acute Medicine Unit, requiring GA or compact RN licensure and recent specialty experience.

• Work on the Acute Medicine Unit within a Medical/Surgical department
• Night shift schedule, varying between 7P-0730A
• 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Deferred schedule type with 36 guaranteed hours weekly

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service before eligibility
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested after
