American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel and high-acuity surgical experience.

• Operating Room unit in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
• Call required, along with weekend and holiday coverage
• No block scheduling available
• Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month

• Active RN license (GA or Compact)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• High rating on skills checklist required, including neuro and vascular competencies
• Proven success in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations
• Background in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases
• Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard applications
• Must have personal electronic device to access required scheduling and communication apps

• Provide surgical nursing care within a high-volume, high-acuity trauma environment
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
