Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Georgia

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts with weekend rotation (Friday-Sunday). Call required approximately one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed to Main OR.

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular Operating Room position with exposure to diverse cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, VAD placement, and AAA repairs
• Epic charting system in use facility-wide
• Holiday coverage required as part of assignment; minimal time-off requests strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• Patient ratio of 1:1 with interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services
• Contract-based assignment with orientation hours varying by contract length

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including scrubbing cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
• All compliance documents and requirements must be completed prior to start date
