American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 4 years of adult and pediatric ED experience and Level 1 trauma center exposure preferred.

• Work in a large, high-acuity Emergency Care Center at an inner-city hospital
• Level 1 trauma center experience preferred
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling not typically approved

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
• Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience required
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity trauma environments required
• Proven success managing critical, fast-paced trauma cases required

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-pressure, high-volume trauma setting handling complex and diverse cases
• Conditional compliance accepted if credentialing is actively in process
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travel candidates
