American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Neuro Unit night shift position requiring recent specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active GA or compact RN license required
- AHA BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty required
- Work in the Acute Neuro Med/Surg unit staffing 7 additional overflow beds
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week on a 7P-7A varying schedule
- No on-call requirements
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Returning staff who previously worked permanently at this facility must complete a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
