Perform general landscape and grounds maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, and debris removal. This position interacts regularly with a supervisor and coworkers, and typically advises and counsels on maintenance tasks. No supervisory responsibilities.

• Maintain trees, shrubs, ground covers and flower beds (planting, fertilizing, mulching, watering, pruning, etc.)
• Transport equipment and personnel via motor vehicle to and from job sites.
• Perform lawn maintenance including mowing, line trimming, edging, aeration, fertilization, lime application, etc.
• Clear landscape and grounds of debris, trash, branches and leaves.
• Empty trash receptacles, remove ice and clean storm drains.
• Dig trenches, perform minor street and walkway repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Educational Requirements:
  
  High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
• Required Experience:
  
  Up to one year of job related experience

• Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance processes and practices including operation of related equipment, radio communications equipment and operation of a motor vehicle.

• This is not a supervisory position.
• This position does not have any financial responsibilities.
• This position requires driving.
• This role is not considered a position of trust.
• This position does not require a purchasing card (P-Card).
• This position will not travel.
• This position does not require security clearance.
