Leasing Consultant

Position Summary

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the promotion of the apartment community by guiding prospective residents through the leasing process. Leasing Consultants conduct community tours and respond to prospective resident questions about the community.

• Interview prospective residents to determine resident needs and qualifications.
• Answer questions about the apartment community; provide callers with directions and other pertinent information; retrieve messages from voicemail and distribute to appropriate team member.
• Conduct property tours and follow up with all prospects in a timely manner in accordance with Company policy.
• Inspect the property tour route daily to ensure Company standards on cleanliness and curb appeal are being upheld.
• Prepare application packets and maintain an adequate on-hand supply.
• Maintain knowledge of the apartment community and amenities and how it compares with listings of other available rental properties in the area.

High school diploma or GED. Must demonstrate literacy in English including reading.

Three to six months of related experience and/or training.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management software (e.g., One-Site, Real Page).

Valid state issued driver’s license.

Authorized to work in the United States.
