Post Doctoral Fellow – The Weitzmann Laboratory
Emory University, Atlanta, GA
The Weitzmann laboratory investigates the mechanisms governing basal and pathological bone turnover at the immuno‑skeletal interface. The lab studies osteoimmunology, targeting anergic T cells to stimulate bone formation, using CD8 T‑cell costimulation inhibitors for skeletal regeneration, and exploring microbiota‑related mechanisms of HIV‑associated bone loss. Sponsored by NIH and VA grants, the laboratory seeks a candidate with a strong background in bone biology and immunology to contribute to this research.
