Market Research Manager

We are looking for a Market Research Manager to join our award-winning small B2B market research agency. This is a hybrid role based in Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, or Philadelphia, PA.

You will be someone who wants a hands-on role with significant responsibility for managing end-to-end quant and qual projects and successful client relationships.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include: designing discussion guides and questionnaires of the highest standard, planning and overseeing fieldwork, conducting research interviews, client/partner meetings, and creating reporting deliverables for well-known B2B brands. The latter is a significant responsibility for the position, and you will be expected to independently produce written deliverables of the highest quality in PPT. Exceptional written skills, grammar, and attention to detail are therefore core requirements for this role.

A high degree of ownership and initiative is important, as you will be responsible for the timely delivery of projects assigned to you, with the highest standard of deliverable expected by our clients.

You will be part of a team of experienced B2B market researchers. We maintain a culture focused on excellence in deliverables and client service, accountability, and offer exposure to a wide range of projects and industries.

Open to applicants currently based in Tennessee, Georgia, or Pennsylvania. Some travel is required (~5%).

• Project management of multiple different types of research and consulting projects (incl. client and vendor management).
• Ownership of project timelines, milestones and client communication.
• Qualitative interviewing & stakeholder consultations.
• Analysis and visualization of qualitative data (from interviews/focus groups).
• Analysis and visualization of quantitative data (charting and analyzing survey results)
• Storytelling and strategic recommendations
• Client presentations and strategic recommendations.

• At least 3 years of experience in market research.
• Exceptional written skills, grammar, and attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with a new industry and complex products.
• Ability to quickly summarize and interpret large amounts of text or other data.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, vendors, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of statistical methods like regression.
• Experience with analysis software such as Q, SPSS, Tableau, or Alteryx.
• Experience with designing and managing a range of different project types (e.g., branding, pricing, segmentation).
• Ability to design questionnaires from scratch for a range of project types with limited supervision.
• Confident approach to conducting telephone/video interviews and client presentations.
• Ability to clearly present complex insights to senior audiences in-person and virtually.

Demonstrable experience with market research or consulting in B2B industries is preferred but not required.

Salary Range
: $80,000 – $95,000, plus a performance bonus
