Research And Development Technician

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a motivated R&D Technician II to support beverage innovation and product development within the Functional Beverages team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline, along with hands-on laboratory or R&D experience.

• Conduct laboratory experiments supporting the development of new beverage products and technologies.
• Evaluate ingredients, materials, formulations, and processing approaches for beverage applications.
• Assist with flavor, emulsion, and delivery system projects under the guidance of technical leaders.
• Design and execute shelf-life and stability studies, analyze data, and prepare technical summaries.
• Perform specialized laboratory testing using advanced analytical and processing equipment.
• Support procurement and management of laboratory supplies and research materials.
• Conduct literature reviews and technical research to support R&D projects.
• Prepare beverage prototypes and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Follow all applicable safety, quality, and laboratory standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or another related scientific discipline.
• Experience with emulsion preparation, delivery systems, gums, hydrocolloids, proteins, sweeteners, food colors, or related food ingredients is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality technical results.
