R&D Lab Technician – Beverage Innovation

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Lab Technician to support beverage innovation and product development within the Functional Beverages team. The ideal candidate will assist with laboratory experiments, beverage formulation, ingredient evaluation, sensory testing, and shelf-life studies while collaborating with scientists and technical leaders in a fast-paced R&D environment.

• Conduct laboratory experiments to support new beverage product development and innovation.
• Prepare beverage prototypes and evaluate ingredients, formulations, and processing methods.
• Support flavor, emulsion, and ingredient delivery system projects.
• Conduct analytical and sensory evaluations of beverage formulations.
• Design and execute shelf-life and stability studies, analyze results, and prepare technical reports.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment while following safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and support pilot-scale production trials.
• Assist with laboratory supply procurement and conduct technical literature reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced research and development environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate laboratory records.

• Experience with beverage formulation and product development.
• Knowledge of emulsions, delivery systems, gums, hydrocolloids, proteins, sweeteners, food colors, or related food ingredients.
• Experience with laboratory testing, stability studies, and analytical equipment.
