The Dishwasher / Utility Worker plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our dining operations. This position assists with food preparation
, ensures proper sanitation and maintenance of kitchen equipment
, and supports the dietary team in delivering high-quality meals to residents and guests.

• ✅ Follow diet orders and NPO diet guidelines.
• ✅ Assist cooks in preparing meals, desserts, and snacks (e.g., salads, desserts, sandwiches).
• ✅ Use proper food handling processes and safety procedures
  .
• ✅ Deliver trays to residents and serve meals in the dining area.
• ✅ Prepare between-meal nourishments and offer menu substitutions per guidelines.
• ✅ Follow procedures for serving partner meals.
• ✅ Maintain cleaning, sanitizing, and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment
  .
• ✅ Communicate warmly and professionally with residents, families, and visitors.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

• Previous food service or food preparation experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care dietary services is a plus.
