Baker, Restaurant​/Food Service

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Baker to prepare delicious baked goods including breads, pastries, and desserts according to traditional and modern recipes. The Baker will be responsible for measuring and mixing ingredients, shaping dough, and baking items to perfection.

• Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role
• Knowledge of baking techniques and the ability to follow recipes accurately
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Excellent time management skills
• Creativity and artistic skills to decorate pastries and desserts

• Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc.
• Monitor the oven temperature and baking times to ensure products are baked properly
• Decorate baked goods using icing, glaze, toppings, and other ingredients
• Ensure all baked goods are presented attractively
• Keep a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

• Certification from a culinary school or relevant institution
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
