The Kitchen Supervisor has a passion for culinary excellence and ensures smooth and efficient daily kitchen activities while managing staff and maintaining culinary supplies. KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervisory
Skills:
Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring all associates fulfill their job functions appropriately. - Culinary Knowledge:Support food and beverage service operations and maintain culinary supplies
- Costand Quality Control :Analyze costs,breakage,andqualitysupportforvariouskitchen areas.
- Safetyand Compliance:Educateassociatesonsafetyissuesandensurecompliancewith healthandsafetyregulations.
- Communication and Leadership:Approachallencounterswithguestsandassociatesina friendly,service-orientedmannerandmaintainopencommunicationwithotherdepartments.
- Sanitation and Cleanliness:Ensurethehighestlevelsofsanitationandcleanlinessinall facilities and equipment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diplomaorequivalent ,withatleast1yearofexperienceinkitchenoperationsorasimilarfield,including a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledgeoffoodandbeverageserviceoperationsispreferred.
- Complies with certification requirements as applicable for position to include:
Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid - Abilitytoacquire Food Manager Certificationasrequiredbyapplicablestateregulations .
