Overview, a new venture from Edible Brands, is seeking an experienced retail leader to champion the flagship retail location in downtown Atlanta. The store will bring the groundbreaking e‑commerce brand to life in a tangible, hands‑on, and customer‑forward way, introducing customers to the in‑store experience of shopping for hemp‑derived THC products.
The role is multifaceted between best‑in‑class retail, education on the category, and sharp business management. It encompasses all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory management, transactions, and a commitment to delivering curated guest experiences. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented leader who can navigate the nuance of a controlled category while driving the business and operations forward.

245 N. Highland Drive, Atlanta, GA (onsite role)
- Lead all aspects of daily store operations including staffing, inventory, compliance, and guest experience.
- Deliver an engaging, educational, and elevated in‑store experience that reflects the brand.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high‑performing team; foster a culture of accountability and continuous growth.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory counts, and transactional accuracy.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant retail environment aligned with company and state regulations.
- Engage with customers—providing education, guidance, and personalized product recommendations.
- Track sales performance, KPIs, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and corporate partners to execute local activations and promotional strategies.
- Stay informed of trends in hemp, wellness, and retail innovation to enhance operations and customer experience.
- Perform additional duties as required to ensure the success of the flagship store.
- Must be 21 years of age or older (per state regulations).
- 3–5 years of retail leadership experience; GM-level preferred.
- Experience in cannabis, hemp, or regulated retail environments strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to drive sales, lead teams, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management, and standard business software tools.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, holidays, and pre/post‑opening hours.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
- This position requires the ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and occasionally lift objects over 25 lbs.
