WHATIS THE JOB?
The Temporary Associate, Merchandising will focus on excellence throughout the product life cycle – from planning, buying, managing inventory, to analyzing selling. The Merchandising & Planning team ensures that the company brings in the right product at the right time in the right amount at the right price. This position reports to the Director, Merchandising & Planning. It is a full-time, salary nonexempt role working onsite in our Atlanta, GA Headquarters and is expected to last until April 2026.
WHATARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Execute key product strategies by analyzing and reacting to data to drive the business.
- Partner with Allocation Specialist to ensure initial product allocations and replenishment are accurate and on time.
- Manage seasonal product assortment tools.
- Participate in weekly store feedback calls; react and execute accordingly.
- Conduct weekly and seasonal business recaps and inform larger product and design team.
- Partner with cross-functional partners to execute and deliver results including passing timely unit projections based on receipt plan target.
- Field ad hoc store and web requests, custom orders, shipping inquiries.
- Driven, resourceful problem solver and team player with a "no task is too small" attitude.
- Hard-working, energetic, gracious, sincere, patient, and adaptable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high quality results.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, sum-ifs).
