Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Retail Sales
The Seasonal Associate works to achieve store sales and operational goals. They will support creating an authentic people experience both front- and back-of-house.
Responsibilities- Impacts the business and store environment in a positive manner that aligns with store goals and ALO's Guiding Principles.
- Drive and exceed sales targets by utilizing ALO's Flow initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Provide a friendly greeting and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support the customer engagement.
- Process customer transactions and returns in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Knowledge of store goals, company communications, initiatives, new product launches and any additional information required by the Store Leadership Team; educate on guest-facing initiatives on the floor.
- Leverages company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals.
- Resolve client needs quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist in processing shipments in a timely manner.
- Support replenishment on the sales floor in a timely manner.
- Ensure all front- and back-of-house procedures are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not actively assisting guests, perform other tasks as needed to keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.
- Preferred 1+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
- Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Aligns with and embodies ALO's Guiding Principles.
- Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store.
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
Seasonal, Part-Time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 20 hours per week, based on the needs of the business, for a shift minimum of 4 hours.
All employees are expected to be able to work during the company’s blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (January 14).
