Territory Manager
Job Description SummaryAs a Territory Manager, you will attain sales goals, increase sales of current accounts, establish new accounts, and present in‑services. You will educate surgeons, OR staff, and other individuals on the proper use of our products, and you will be responsible for budget and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
- Advises customers on new and current pricing, back orders, and company policies.
- Executes comprehensive in‑service of products to all concerned individuals.
- Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
- Achieves timely, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
- Completes and processes BD Peripheral Intervention reports including sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established procedures and policies.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of outside sales experience or equivalent.
- Product knowledge of BD Peripheral Intervention products.
- Surgical procedure knowledge sufficient to illustrate product benefits.
- Detailed understanding of needs/analysis selling.
- Understanding of contract administration.
