Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary

To develop and achieve new business opportunities thru solid planning and execution in HFLOR flooring. This position will service distributor accounts

E. of MS River. This position requires knowledge and understanding of sales, marketing and administrative duties as well as being a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

• New Business development and existing account management.
• Work with individual customers to support, guide and drive sales growth.
• Educate distributor representatives to grow business in their regions. Assist with presentations to A&D firms and customers to gain HFLOR Brand loyalty and market share.
• Support LX Hausys Territory Managers, Commercial Sales Managers, and Residential Sales Specialists.
• Gain thorough understanding of market dynamics and activities within our industries and among key competitors.
• Establish management relations with key customers throughout the value chain to gain preferred share position.
• Implement sales, marketing and warranty programs efficiently and effectively.
• Work with others in a team environment
• Interface with Alpharetta Corporate Office, and Headquarters in South Korea (both Head office and Plant) as required.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the management and operation of your individual boundaries.
• Finding and following new sales leads (new business development) in North America region.
• Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.
• Achieve annual sales goals according to agreed-upon budgets.
• Gain market share and “share of mind” among customers.
• Collect and report competitive intelligence within our industry and among our key product competitors.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout value chain through reliable customer service, delivery/supply and complaint handling (warranty and others).
• Build key customer relationships and trust among top customers.
• Provide monthly sales forecasting and create monthly marketing reports. Participate in annual business planning process as it relates to sales.
• Handle administrative responsibilities including travel expenses, local marketing costs, customer returns and warranty claims.
• Communicate needs for customer service, delivery/supply and product with GA warehouse and/or Alpharetta Corporate Office.

• BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
• 5 years plus territory / account management experience in flooring or related interior finishes business
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Strong business sense and industry expertise.
• Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software.
