Position Summary:

TCL North America is seeking a strategic, results-driven leader to join our team as Vice President, AT&T Account. This role is critical in accelerating the growth and market share of TCL's mobile business within AT&T across national sales channels-including national retailers, B2B, distributors, and other indirect partners.

As Vice President, AT&T Account, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive product strategies that support AT&T RFP requirements and regulatory initiatives. You will also lead go-to-market strategies aligned with both short- and long-term business objectives, while managing cross-functional team members supporting the account.

You will spearhead efforts to position the TCL Mobile brand as a key player in the North American mobile landscape by strengthening partnerships, optimizing sales execution, and identifying new growth opportunities. Your leadership will play a critical role in shaping our retail presence, enhancing customer engagement, and driving consistent revenue growth.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Account Leadership
    • Lead all AT&T account initiatives to drive product positioning and overall account growth.
    • Define and lead the long-term strategic vision for TCL's mobile business with AT&T.
    • Align product initiatives with global objectives while developing market-specific plans to drive brand growth.
  • Oversee product planning and ensure successful launch execution across key channel opportunities.
  • Optimize product positioning to maximize visibility and performance in the market.
  • Negotiate promotions from a regional perspective and develop below-the-line (BTL) strategies.
  • Monitor BTL execution to ensure alignment with promotional goals.
  • Provide executive-level leadership across retail and merchandising initiatives.
  • Drive integration and expansion across channels to enhance brand presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and customers.
  • Monitor sales activities to ensure targets are met and take agile actions to boost performance.
  • Analyze monthly performance against sales targets and actual achievements.
  • Stay current on market conditions and trends to inform strategy and support new product launches.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on competition, product movement, brand positioning, challenges, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of direct AT&T mobile device sales experience, with a strong focus on retail, B2B, national retail, and indirect channels.
  • Established relationships with the AT&T Product Portfolio and Emblem Solutions leadership teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of AT&T device requirements and regulatory expectations.
  • Proven success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive revenue and increase market share.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners.
  • Strong understanding of the mobile industry landscape, including product life cycles, pricing strategies, and competitive dynamics.
  • Familiarity with both carrier and non-carrier sales models, with the ability to navigate each effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop sales teams to achieve high performance.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to guide strategic decisions.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and closing high-value deals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
