Be the front-line seller who drives sales, identifying and generating opportunities for different kinds of customers. You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through coordinating and attending trade shows, seminars, and similar events. You will provide education of Honeywell products through technical presentations. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system.
You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecasts/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning.
- Establish key relationships with leading Datacenter Companies across your geography.
- Build relationships and understand customer business to provide appropriate products or solutions.
- Leverage existing and build new relationships with our customers senior leaders at a vice president level and higher.
- Increase overall performance by creating strong customer relationships at new customer via partnerships, sponsor ships and value at solutions.
- Define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives.
- Identify opportunities and build credibility with customers and utilize product knowledge to deliver the value proposition.
- Develop and maximize Honeywell presence and market share and territory.
- Maintain deep understanding of marketplace changes, intimate involvement with industry‑related activities and adapt territory strategies accordingly.
- Effectively sell the full portfolio of Honeywell Building Solutions (BMS, Security Access and CCTV and Fire Alarm).
- Coordinate and review all sales strategies and new opportunities that segments and covers the addressable markets.
- Work collaboratively with the senior members of the delivery team.
- Be a trusted expert advisor to clients and always influence in resolving problems, conflicts, and lead critical negotiation.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience within Datacenters project sales or technical sales.
- Experience in operating within a highly structured sales environment.
- Travel required approximately 50% to sites/customer HQ within your geographic responsibilities.
- Experience selling projects into the Datacenter space tier 2 level corporations Building Automation, Security and Life Safety industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.
- 7+ years of proven sales professionals with a highly technical background and solution selling approach.
- Demonstrates high-energy and competitive mindset.
- Builds trust and credibility at all levels of the customers’ organization, including decision makers across business functions and c‑suite.
- Demonstrates expertise in business acumen, sales systems, and processes.
