Anaplan is hiring an ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE FOR OUR CONSUMER PACKAGED INDUSTRY
. In this role you will sell sophisticated technology solutions, manage accounts, and showcase our adaptable platform. The sales team helps industry leaders understand the impact of Anaplan products and how our connected planning solution eliminates siloed decision‑making. You will help customers achieve immediate business goals while setting them up for future success.

This role is a catalyst for Anaplan’s continued growth and leads digital transformation. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President (RVP). You may have up to 50 accounts in a defined geographic territory, mostly greenfield accounts with several existing Anaplan customers. The territory requires building our footprint by hunting and locking in new logo accounts as well as rapidly growing opportunities within the current customer base.

Impact
  • Engage with targeted consumer‑focused organization prospects to identify broken business processes and position Anaplan’s ability to solve the problem.
  • Build Anaplan’s business value throughout the selling engagement, navigating sophisticated prospect environments to align the prospect around the solution.
  • Conduct highly effective presentations from Director through SVP and key C‑suite level decision makers, including CFOs, CROs, and senior leaders in supply chain, workforce, and other functions.
  • Develop customers and own opportunity management from start to finish across multiple target accounts.
  • Apply Anaplan’s value‑based selling methodology and tools to run sales processes and accurately forecast business.
  • Employ outstanding account leadership skills to identify expansion opportunities by cross‑selling and up‑selling within targeted accounts.
  • Perform strategic sales planning, leading to accurate forecasting of the business.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Sales Development Reps, Marketing, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success.
Your Qualifications
  • 8+ years of consultative sales experience in Fortune 2000 companies, ideally in SaaS solutions (though not required).
  • Successful track record selling into Vice President / Senior Vice President buyers.
  • Experience selling into Consumer (e.g., FMCG, F&B, Apparel, Retail) accounts.
  • Deep understanding of pressing business challenges faced by consumer‑facing enterprises.
  • History of over‑achieving sales quota & targets, including multiple high six‑figure annual contract value (ACV) deals.
  • Network in industry territory, with a mix of customers and implementation partners.
  • Experience with sophisticated partner and internal team organizations.
  • Domain knowledge of Supply Chain, FP&A, Workforce Planning & Sales and how these functions plan, process work and make decisions.
  • Strong opportunity‑management practices and ability to balance 3–5 opportunities simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
  • Business, Finance, Economics or related BS/BA degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with SFDC, Altify, Marketo, and Engagio.
