Job Overview
Sales Specialist – DEXIS Intraoral Scanners
Grow sales of our advanced intraoral scanner (IOS) by generating self‑derived leads, following up on marketing leads, and working with current and prospective customers to place additional IOS units. A successful sales specialist will apply expertise in end-to-end clinical workflows to exceed sales goals through solution selling of the DEXIS IOS product line.
- Partner with local DEXIS imaging field sales teams and Marketing to identify new and existing customer opportunities and support lead conversion.
- Develop a deep understanding of assigned software and IOS products, maintaining knowledge of all solution aspects.
- Conduct frequent virtual product demonstrations and present features and workflows clearly and compellingly for different practice roles.
- Respond to technical and clinical questions during and after demonstrations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of IOS technology, updates, and competitive landscape.
- Document demo outcomes and customer feedback in CRM tools for follow‑up and continuous improvement.
- Provide post‑demo support by connecting prospects with appropriate resources or teams.
- Prepare and present pricing proposals tailored to customer needs and negotiate terms to close deals and maximize revenue and satisfaction.
- Stay informed on dental technology trends and adjacent products to position DEXIS IOS products effectively.
- Work a flexible schedule to accommodate core hours (8 am–6 pm) in the designated territory time zone.
- Travel up to 5% of the time as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems (preferred).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong collaborative behavior and teamwork.
- Well‑spoken, organized, self‑motivated, and ambitious.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer tabs/screens.
- Capacity to follow a scripted environment while personalizing the approach.
- Polished, energetic, and professional demeanor.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in dental technology, dental practice support, or medical device demonstrations (virtual experience preferred).
- Proficient with video‑conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams) and screen‑sharing tools.
- Exceptional verbal presentation skills; ability to simplify technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with dental professionals.
- Background in dental hygiene, dental assisting, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with intraoral scanners or CAD/CAM dental technology.
- Ability to manage multiple demo appointments independently.
- Enthusiasm for technology and improving patient care through innovation.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable using CRM systems.
- Experience in a team sales environment.
Salary range: $64,400 – $79,000. Compensation will be commensurate with geographic location, skill set, education, experience, and performance, and may include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401 K match, and other applicable plans.
